Weighing just 1.07 lbs (485g), Edge packs incredibly performance into an ultra-thin, light and portable design as a mechanical keyboard. The upper case of Edge is crafted from 3K twill weave carbon fiber, which is known for its durability and lightweight, to offer strong protection and yet a gorgeous look.
Also, Edge metallic bottom is crafted from magnesium alloy, which is tougher and performs remarkably well on heat resistance. Lofree team made great efforts on ensuring an optimal internal structure. Semi-solid casting is chosen rather than conventional die casting, despite higher cost and extra procedures. Eliminating air pockets through a controlled solidification process helps make Edge dependably stable on both uniform density and toughness. With a stylish outlooking and corrosion-resistant bottom case, Edge simply upgrades your space.

On the basis of Flow switches, again we pushed the limits of how thin Edge can achieve with Kailh. To make sure providing a smooth, consistent keystroke without tactile interruption, we chose to shorten the total travel rather than just easily lower the height of switches. After rigorous testing and refinements ranged from 2.8mm to 1.0mm, the finalised total travel distance of Kailh POM Switch 2.0 hits 2.4mm. The ultra low-profile design of Edge reduces muscle strain on your wrists with your fingers curved naturally.

You’ll type more naturally with a curved, split keyframe that improves typing posture. Each package contains six extra keycaps and you can put them anywhere you want. Three of them are printed with Morse code on the surface. Don't forget to check what they mean.
We offer three alternative keycap sets, Lune, Meteorite, and Ether. These keycaps utilize an advanced dye sublimation process, which surpasses ordinary double-shot techniques.
PCB-GASKET MOUNT

To honour our commitment to creating mechanical keyboards that offer superior typing experience in a slimmer and lighter design, an innovative PCB-Gasket structure is featured in Edge keyboards. To conquer the challenge of space constraints, solder-mounted switches are used and gaskets integrated are strategically positioned directly into the PCB. Instead of silicone, the inner cavity of shell is filled with special-shaped foam material，which is less weight and works incredibly well in noise reduction. Edge is a perfect choice in quiet public areas such as libraries.

I'm a long time user of the magic keyboard and have tried using mechanical keyboards once before, and didn't enjoy the experience at all. But am absolutely in love with this. Took me a few days but the writing experience is top notch. The 'thock' is lovely too.
pros:
- super smooth typing experience
- quiet
- solid build
the issues I had:
- really need backlit keys, you can't see them in the dark
- when the light is on you can hear a "issss" noise very annoying
The best I tried to far, better than keycron, logitech mx
paid 185$ for the base keyboard + Ether keycaps (shipping include)
lot of pros: build quality Magnesium alloy and carbon is perfect switches (quite like the POM Switches 2 )and many more
a few small cons: useless backlight if using the stock keycaps or even the ether one, no hotswappable switches and well, my k key is not working 100% of the time
i can remedy to the useless backlighting with DSA profile transparent (technically more "pudding" ) keycaps (pics 4 and 5)
if not needing backlighting the stock and Ether are quite good (also they look like the font used for Metal Gear : Revengeance)
but the hotswap switches ... is a loss if one more key start to act like the k key (and at the price i paid, even more at retail price, it's quite baffling)
minor irritating stuff: ANSI layout (tho i can get over it ... at least it's not the total aberration that ISO Azerty is ... )
TL:DR : awesome keyboard with some minor quirks
Lofree Edge is a great to type keyboard, however the backlight is a joke.... rather turn it off. the keycap can't really see the word... swapped with a 3rd party keycap from keychron.. now is my perfect low profile keyboard......
This board is great if your comfortable on a normal profile mechanical keyboard but want to try a low profile one. To start, it sounds really nice and looks beautiful. It has also improved my typing accuracy to a notable degree.
A few minor complaints: the backlighting is a joke and might as well not be there. If there were shine-through keycaps for this board it would be a game changer. Can be difficult to see keys at night. Second, some of the keys can feel a bit mushy at times, especially when typing fast, and the space bar in particular leaves a lot to be desired.
Overall, very easy board to use and satisfying to type on, for the most part. Would be a five star review with better backlighting and stabilizers on the space bar and backspace key and a few others.
