Good mouse, but could be an amazing mouse with a slight overhaul!

Good day,

I recently acquired a Lofree Touch and here is my honest review of the mouse;

First off, I like the mouse a lot. The design looks good and fits perfectly with my hobby as a custom keyboard enthousiast. The mouse performs well and does what a mouse does. So solid attempt so far.

Now off to my feedback/ points of improvement:
1. The mouse is too small. It needs to be scaled up a bit.

2. The keyboard-like buttons are awesome, but it would have been great if the travel movement upon click was more like a keyboard switch. Or make it a literal hotswap keyboard switch, so we can choose our own switches for the mouse.

3. The forward and backward buttons are too low down to the thumb-rest. If I lay my thumb on the rest it will be touching the forward/ backward buttons and the activation is too light, so I sometimes accidentally trigger it.

4. Bluetooth inactivity timer; when watching a movie or reading a document I might now touch my mouse for a few minutes and when I do touch my mouse, I want it to immediately wake up, not sleep for 3 or 4 seconds and then wake up.

Heck, even giving us the option to disable the bluetooth sleep completely would be a great feature. I don't care if it means the mouse won't have as much battery life, I'll just recharge it.

5. Weight; the mouse feels very light. This might be a good thing for shooter games, but lets be honest, this mouse isn't exactly a gaming mouse. It is a mouse that is made for people that like interesting and odd things, not for practical gaming needs.

Anyways, I think that overall the mouse is a great concept and with some of my feedback implemented it would be an amazing mouse. Would love to see a new version that's even bigger and badder.

EXTREMELY SMALL but extremely nice

Let me start this off by saying that if it wasn't for the size it would be 5 stars. If you see my photo, my hand (which is an average size) is resting on the mouse and my fingers are where the buttons would be for every standard size mouse, but this mouse is so small that if you rest your hand on it like a normal mouse, your fingers will be completely over the mouse entirely. The only way to use it is awkwardly placing the top of your palm on the back of the mouse and still having to curl your fingers in a claw like fashion to press the buttons. So size issues aside, the mouse is very high quality, the buttons and display are really really nice and of course it's the coolest looking retro style mouse out there which goes perfectly with my vintage style gaming PC setup. Unfortunately, it's too small for me to use while gaming so I have it at my office for work which still isn't great but I really want to use it so I'm dealing with that. After I researched it, it seems that almost everyone mentions how small it is. I should've checked the size before I purchased it but I assumed it would have mentioned that it is a mini computer mouse. I also noticed that the back button only works if you are not moving the mouse at all which is a little strange and pretty annoying but maybe there's a way to change that. I couldn't recommend it for gaming honestly which is pretty upsetting.

A Fantastic Mouse with a few flaws

This mouse is one of the best mice I've used, period.

The design is incredibly unique, and I thoroughly enjoy using it for productivity and light non-competitive gaming. The keycaps and scroll wheel also just feel great to use, and the multi-mode on the mouse is just an amazing bonus to what is an incredibly great mouse.

My only complaint is the size; it's on the smaller side, and I often have to use a claw motion with my fingertips reaching the front edge of the keycaps, and the palm of my hand doesn't wrap around the bottom as neatly as my other mouse. I would love to see a larger variant.

Other than that, a fantastic mouse I will most definitely be utilising far into the future.
